Torrox

The inland village and coastal strip have a wonderful climate with an average 18C the surrounding mountain range providing protection from winds. The Merenderos of Torrox Costa are far famed, while the inland (4 kilometres) old town of Torrox Pueblo is delightfully Moorish with plenty to see. Particularly charming in summer, the central square is decorated with 600 multi coloured umbrellas, for shade. It is quite a sight.
